The company is currently seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join their team, particularly for operating loaders for snow removal tasks.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will:
- Operate heavy equipment, specifically loaders, for the purpose of snow removal.
- Work in shifts available from 10 AM to 10 PM and 10 PM to 10 AM, ensuring flexibility and readiness to respond to weather-dependent job duties.
- Participate in on-call rotations, particularly during peak snowfall periods, to provide timely and efficient snow removal services.
- Ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment, adhering to all safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute snow removal operations efficiently.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator, with specific skills in operating loaders.
- Familiarity with construction and landscaping work environments.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and on-call duties as required by weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and procedures.
- DOT medical card preferred, but not mandatory at the time of hire.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
