Tualatin, OR.
Day shift: 6am - 2:30pm
Pay: $ DOE

Our client is a precision sheet metal manufacturing and engineering company. They specialize in providing high-quality sheet metal fabrication, engineering solutions, and integrated assembly services to meet a wide range of customer needs.
What you'll do:
Develops setups and installs a variety of hardware according to customer prints and manufacturer specifications.
Responsibilities

Follows department standard operating procedures.

Sets up hardware machines according to manufacturer recommendations.

Uses correct tooling to ensure hardware is secure, flush, protects threads, installed in proper quantities and locations, and meets required torque specifications.

Performs a wide range of configurations, from simple to complex, using multiple types, lengths, and widths across various patterns and flanges.

Installs pop rivets into units and sub-assemblies per customer prints.

Ensures assemblies meet both cosmetic standards and functional requirements.

Adheres to established safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, and contributes to a safe working environment.

Maintains a clean and organized work area.

Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to use tools including (but not limited to):
- Rivet gun
- Wrenches, screw drivers
- Impact wrenches
- Torque drive tooling
- Various power/hand tools
- Accurate usage of tape measure
- Fixture and Testing equipment
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependability; honesty & integrity; a positive, proactive attitude; ability to use time productively, working with minimal supervision both individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
