Opening: Account Manager - HVAC Service Sales
City: Redmond, WA

  • Business Development of a pipeline of service and preventative maintenance contracts in private, public, and commercial projects
  • Business Development through strong demonstrable network
  • Seek and bid HVAC service to the private sector, plan spec and design build sectors
  • Thorough demonstration of HVAC technical knowledge, local codes, specifications and permitting
  • Preparing Bids and Proposals including estimating
  • Strong commercial HVAC experience
  • Developing HVAC solutions and systems that are customer and sustainability centric
  • Determine Budget Costs systems and write up detailed Bid and estimates
  • Prepare estimates and proposals working other team members to develop the best solution
  • Develop and maintain a CRM system
  • $65,000-85,000/year to start, DOE
  • Company contribution to medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Opportunity for commissions

  • Hybrid/remote position
  • HVAC, refrigeration, piping, sheet metal or relevant trade qualification
  • At least 5 years of related HVAC and or mechanical experience required
  • Or an equivalent combination of both education and experience
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license with good driving record
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers
  • Business acumen and financial aptitude
  • Ability to identify customer’s needs and translate into sales opportunities
  • Problem solving
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office products and design, estimating software, Blue Beam and Procore
  • Professional appearance
  • Strong interpersonal skills, achievement oriented, self-motivated, and organized
  • Local Washington State industry knowledge

I am born and raised in the Seattle area, and have never lived anywhere else. My wife, daughter, and I live in Renton, which is a perfect location for us. We live near all our friends and family, and we love taking advantage of all that the Northwest has to offer. Like the rest of my family, I graduated from the University of Washington, and am a huge Huskies fan. Most of my free time is spent spending time with my family, but besides that, I am a big Mariners and Seahawks fan (Bring back our Sonics!), and I coach high school basketball, which is a passion of mine. I love helping kids develop both on and off the court, and find it very rewarding to see former players as they get older and grow into young adults. Since graduating from college, I have had a number of jobs, but none that I really loved – until I started at Opti. The amazing culture that has been established is what I’ve been looking for.
