Job Description
Job Title: HVAC Installation Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. This is a year-round, full-time position with lots of room for financial growth, and the opportunity to work for a great, family-oriented company.
Responsibilities:
- Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine installation requirements
- Perform load calculations to determine appropriate system sizing
- Install ductwork, piping, and other components according to manufacturer specifications and local codes
- Test and verify system performance after installation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as an HVAC Installation Technician
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed
