WHO THEY ARE:
We've been producing competitively priced rock, sand, and soil since 1990. Over the years, we have developed a quality control program to help us make a wide variety of crushed rock and crushed stone products that meet tough customer specifications. So whether you’re a contractor building a high rise or a homeowner landscaping your yard, you can be confident that our products are the best available.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Full-Time, Responsible for monitoring, reporting and enforcing a surface mining work environment that reduces health and safety hazards, meets MSHA standards, and contributes to the wellbeing of each team member. This position will work closely with all levels of management and hourly employees to ensure safety and health work standards are achieved.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Train and educate team members about mine safety and health, individually and in large groups.
- Monitor multiple work sites for health and safety hazards and work with management to fix them.
- Document each team member’s safety training according to MSHA standards.
- Manage other safety topics and documentation as needed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- Minimum of Two (2) years as a safety professional.
- MSHA experience preferred.
- OSHA experience helpful.
- Ability to connect and communicate effectively with each team member. Â
Education/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- College degree in relevant field preferred
- Proper paperwork to document that you are authorized to work in the US
- Complete our online behavioral assessment
- Pass Pre-employment drug test and background check
Physical Demands:
-This job may require sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
- This job requires being exposed to noise, heights, and other unique conditions.
-This job requires working outside, year-round in all kinds of weather.
