Position: Safety & Compliance Coordinator
Location: Portland, OR (On-Site)
Pay: up to $30 DOE
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site
Safety & Compliance Coordinator (Operations Support)
Our Client:
A well-established industrial fabrication company is seeking a Safety & Compliance Coordinator to support and strengthen their safety programs and regulatory compliance efforts. This role is ideal for someone with a strong safety background who thrives in a structured environment, understands OSHA requirements, and can manage compliance documentation while supporting operations and HR functions.
What You’ll Do:
- Administer and maintain safety programs across fabrication and facility environments
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, Fire Marshal, and internal safety standards
- Coordinate safety inspections, track incidents, and support corrective actions
- Maintain accurate safety logs, reports, and compliance documentation
- Support air quality monitoring and required environmental tracking
- Manage stormwater compliance including inspections, reporting, and recordkeeping
- Review and validate timekeeping for fabrication teams
- Maintain maintenance logs, vehicle records, and operational documentation
- Provide administrative support to HR and operations, including onboarding paperwork
- Prepare reports and documentation for audits and internal review
- Assist with project submittals and ensure documentation accuracy
What You Need to Have:
- 2+ years of experience in safety, compliance, operations, or administrative support
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety documentation
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and documentation skills
