Opening: Guest Services Associate – Part Time & Full Time
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $18.50 DOE + tips
Hours: Seasonal schedule with flexible shift coverage
Opti Staffing Group is looking for an outgoing and dependable Guest Services Associate to join a local golf and entertainment facility. This is a customer-facing position for someone who enjoys creating a great guest experience, working in a fast-paced environment, and learning new technology. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable taking initiative, and willing to jump in wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Opening: Guest Services Associate – Part Time & Full Time

Opti Staffing Group is looking for an outgoing and dependable Guest Services Associate to join a local golf and entertainment facility. This is a customer-facing position for someone who enjoys creating a great guest experience, working in a fast-paced environment, and learning new technology. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable taking initiative, and willing to jump in wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
- Create a welcoming experience for guests from arrival through checkout
- Manage guest check-ins and provide assistance during their visit
- Help customers get comfortable using the facility's golf simulator technology
- Assist with basic troubleshooting when equipment or simulator issues occur
- Coordinate reservations and respond to booking requests through multiple channels
- Operate the register and POS system, including opening and closing customer tabs
- Prepare and serve food and beverages
- Monitor and replenish coolers and other stocked items
- Keep guest areas clean, presentable, and ready for use
- Work closely with management to address customer concerns or operational needs
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment
- Take on other responsibilities that support the day-to-day operation of the facility
- A naturally friendly and customer-focused approach
- Strong communication skills and professional interaction with guests
- Someone who takes ownership and looks for solutions rather than waiting to be asked
- Dependable and trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Able to safely work from a 6-foot ladder when needed
- Hospitality, restaurant, service, or other customer-facing experience is a plus
- Previous cash-handling experience preferred
- Interest in or familiarity with golf is helpful, but not required
- Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and other technology
- TAP certification is a plus; successful candidates without certification will need to complete the required certification before starting
- Tips are available in addition to base wages
- Seasonal scheduling with hours adjusted according to business needs
- Employees may coordinate shift swaps or coverage with teammates when necessary
- 90-day introductory/probationary period
- Simple IRA with a 3% employer match after the probationary period
