This role supports the grants management team and plays a key part in keeping grant and scholarship processes organized, accurate, and running smoothly. The right person is detail oriented, organized, and comfortable supporting multiple departments in a collaborative office environment.

Opening: Grants Management Assistant
Location: Wasilla, AK

This role supports the grants management team and plays a key part in keeping grant and scholarship processes organized, accurate, and running smoothly. The right person is detail oriented, organized, and comfortable supporting multiple departments in a collaborative office environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Provide administrative support to the grants management team
- Answer and track incoming calls and communications in a professional manner
- Maintain digital records, files, and documentation
- Monitor and process incoming grant and scholarship portal submissions
- Enter data and maintain contact and organization records in the grants system
- Upload and manage grant related documents
- Generate reports and respond to internal and external inquiries as needed
- Assist with year end grant and scholarship activities
- Support meeting preparation including agendas and note taking
- Update and monitor grant and scholarship information published online
- Cross train with other administrative staff
- Assist with special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable with basic office software including Microsoft Office and Zoom
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while taking direction as needed
- Experience with grants management systems or CRM platforms preferred but not required
