WE ARE HIRING FOR...
Position: Furnace Technician 2
Location: Vancouver, WA
Pay: $22/hr + $1/hr shift differential
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Graveyard Shift)

What You’ll Do:
As a Furnace Technician 2, you will be responsible for:

Loading, running, and monitoring furnaces
-
Performing minor maintenance and troubleshooting furnace issues
-
Operating powder compacting presses, sand blasters, and precision scales
-
Supporting production flow and working to reduce bottlenecks
-
Applying statistical process control methods to monitor quality
-
Making process improvements as directed by supervisors
-
Collaborating with engineering on testing and improvement projects
-
Independently managing engineering-related production improvements
-
Performing light maintenance on various equipment

What You Need to Have: The Musts:

Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
-
Familiarity with a variety of machining processes
-
Ability to work independently and with engineering teams

Experience operating industrial machinery
-
Ability to work graveyard shift consistently
-
Prior furnace operation or heat treatment experience
-
Previous work with statistical process control (SPC) methods
-
Experience with maintenance in a manufacturing setting
