Location:Â NE Portland, OR (Onsite)
Pay:Â Â $16-$18
Schedule: Full time, weekend availability. 10 hr shifts

We pride ourselves on being green by recycling yard debris and wood waste and converting them into rich compost or Biomass fuel for renewable energy production. We are perpetually evolving our practices to deliver the highest quality products and services to our customers. We strive to discover the most responsible practices so that we can contribute to developing a green environment yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

We are looking for a team player to join our growing company. In this position you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service, helping customers and processing merchandise in an indoor/outdoor environment. Â

What You’ll Do:
We are looking for a team player to join our growing company. In this position you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service, helping customers and processing merchandise in an indoor/outdoor environment. Â
Customer service/Sales:
- Demonstrate a customer service mentality
- Greet customers, determine needs and ask questions
- Operate technology-based Point of Sales system to complete sales transactions
- Inbound phone sales/ service
- Function as a team player
- Inventory stock maintenance
- Maintain a clean and full store appearance
- Prepare the store for daily opening and closing
Qualifications
- Good listening and verbal communication skills
- Sales and customer service
- Ability to gain quick and solid understanding of company’s electronic POS and cross reference system
- Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize
- Ability to calculate simple math and percentages
- Work in the outside environment in all weather conditions
- Have reliable transportation
- Be reliable and on time
- Able to climb to look into trucks and trailers, able to train for use of scissor lift
- Weekend schedule
- Pass drug/background check
- Be a team player!
