Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a leading transportation company in Anchorage, AK, to find experienced Forklift Operators who are ready to contribute to a dynamic team and assist in the efficient loading and unloading of conexes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Forklift Operator at our transportation company in Anchorage, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Operating forklifts of various types to safely load and unload conexes.
- Adhering to strict safety guidelines and protocols while operating forklifts.
- Assisting in maintaining the organized and efficient flow of materials and products.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries.
- Providing excellent customer service while handling materials and interacting with clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Forklift Certification: Must possess a valid forklift certification.
- Background Check and UA: Successfully pass a background check and undergo a urine analysis (UA). We do not test for marijuana.
- Criminal Record: No sex offender registry. Theft and assaults are taken into consideration, but they may not necessarily disqualify you.
- Driving Record: DUIs and minor offenses are not a hindrance.
- Footwear: Wear steel-toed or composite-toed boots for safety.
- Customer Service: Have some prior customer service experience to assist with client interactions.
- Graveyard Shift: 12:30 AM - 9:30 AM (+75 cents)
