Opening: Food Equipment Service Technician
City: Renton, WA (This position requires day travel around the South Puget Sound area)
WHO THEY ARE:
We are a regional foodservice equipment service provider that operates in Oregon, Washington, Idaho & Alaska for more than 30 years.
We are looking for experienced candidates with experience in service and installation of food service equipment in grocery stores, c-store, and restaurant environments.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Service to include equipment troubleshooting and diagnostics, part replacement as needed, problem resolution, installation of new equipment, preventative maintenance, and onsite customer training.
- Willingness to work OT as well as scheduled on call weekends in your territory.
- Ability to work independently in a telecommuting environment processing service call information using dispatching software.
- Must carry company issued communication devices (phone & tablet) and report problems with said devices.
- Facilitate pick-up & parts installation on customer equipment, maintain small inventory of parts.
- Deliver superior customer service to include focus on customer needs, developing and sustaining positive customer relationships, creating and executing plans and solutions in collaboration with customers.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:
- $25-38/HR to start, DOE
- Flexible schedule - full time including after hours and weekend on-call availability. All on call and after-hours time will be compensated at a time and a half rate or double time.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- 5+ years’ experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Must have electrical knowledge and understanding of basic heating and refrigeration. Certifications are a plus, WA 07D license preferred (or Journeyman/woman Electrical License)
- Experience repairing appliances
