Position: Flexo Press Operator
Location: Lake Oswego, OR
Pay: Starting at $21.50+/hr. DOE
Schedule: Full-Time - Monday to Friday. 8hr days

Our client is a leading manufacturer of custom labels and packaging solutions serving industries including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, personal care, and technology. They are seeking a motivated Flexo Press Operator to join their growing production team. What You'll Do
As a Flexo Press Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses while ensuring every product meets the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Set up and operate flexographic printing presses

  • Read and interpret job orders and production specifications

  • Install print cylinders, dies, and tooling for production runs

  • Load inks and adjust ink systems for proper color and viscosity

  • Monitor press operation and make adjustments to speed, alignment, registration, and print quality

  • Inspect printed products for color accuracy, registration, die cuts, and overall quality

  • Troubleshoot printing issues and make corrections as needed

  • Mix inks to maintain proper color consistency

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment

  • Clean printing plates, cylinders, dies, and work areas

  • Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records

  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace

What You Need to Have

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ year of flexographic printing press experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)

  • Ability to read and interpret job orders, production specifications, and measuring devices

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals

  • Ability to accurately read rulers, scales, and measuring tools

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify print defects and quality concerns

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Good color vision and close attention to detail

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
