Job Description

 OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING! 
Position: Finisher/Painter
Location: Vancouver, WA
Pay: $20.09 – $25.49 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Availability for overtime on weekdays and occasional weekends based on production needs.
Who We Are
We’re a commercial cabinet shop specializing in high-end store fixtures and displays for retail, hospitality, casinos, and the gaming industry. We take pride in craftsmanship and the quality of our architectural millwork.
What You’ll Do
As a Finisher/Painter, you will:

  • Stain, paint, and apply topcoats to wood fixtures and architectural elements

  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to identify parts requiring finish

  • Use pneumatic spray equipment and hand tools to apply finishes

  • Mix stain, lacquer, and paint to achieve custom finishes

  • Perform masking, sanding, blending, and surface prep

  • Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs

  • Take on special projects as assigned

What You Need to Have The Musts:

  • Experience with staining, painting, and topcoating wood products

  • Skilled in using pneumatic spray systems and related tools

  • Ability to mix finishes to color specifications

  • Solid understanding of masking, sanding, and surface blending techniques

  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs regularly

  • Good communication and reliability

  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
Preferred:

  • Previous experience in high-end millwork or retail fixture finishing

  • Familiarity with production environments requiring high attention to detail
