Job Description
Position: Fabrication & Installation Technician
Location: Tukwila, WA
Pay: $25–35/hr DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Who We Are:
A well-established diesel truck and trailer repair shop is looking for a skilled Fabrication & Installation Technician to join the team. This is a hands-on role focused on custom fabrication, equipment installation, and electrical work for commercial trucks and trailers.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform metal fabrication and custom modifications on trucks and trailers
- Install truck equipment, including liftgates, frames, and other components
- Complete electrical wiring and troubleshooting for installed equipment
- Read and interpret work orders and installation specifications
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with the shop team to complete projects efficiently
What’s In It for You:

What You Need to Have:
- Minimum of 3 years of fabrication and installation experience
- Experience with electrical work on truck equipment
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable personal transportation
The Musts:
- Metal fabrication experience
- Installation experience with truck equipment
- Electrical wiring and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to safely use fabrication tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Preferred:
- Experience working on commercial trucks and trailers
- Welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints or fabrication drawings
