Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $120k–$150k DOE + benefits

We’re seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements and support a growing client base for a reputable, locally owned CPA firm in Anchorage. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Lead and manage multiple audit engagements across various industries
  • Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing technical guidance and performance feedback
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and professional insight
  • Oversee planning, execution, and completion of audits in accordance with GAAP and firm standards
  • Review financial statements, assess risk, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Research and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues as they arise
  • Contribute to firm growth by identifying new service opportunities and supporting business development efforts
  • Collaborate closely with firm partners on strategy, quality control, and client satisfaction initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Active CPA license required
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive audit experience in public accounting
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and audit standards
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience with audit and accounting software (e.g., CCH, CaseWare, or similar)
