Opening: Superintendent / Manager of Operations
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $45 to $55 per hour, DOE, with growth potential

We’re partnering with an established and highly reputable commercial and residential construction company that’s been operating in Anchorage for over 20 years. Known for their upbeat team culture and high-end work, they specialize in ground-up commercial construction, renovations, remodels, and additions. On the residential side, they focus strictly on remodels and additions. Their project portfolio includes restaurants, hotels, medical offices, and corporate buildings
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be in the field the majority of the time, leading by example and actively working alongside your team. You’ll manage daily operations and oversee crews on multiple sites while coordinating schedules and subcontractors. Key responsibilities include:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be in the field the majority of the time, leading by example and actively working alongside your team. You’ll manage daily operations and oversee crews on multiple sites while coordinating schedules and subcontractors. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and working alongside a team of 4 to 5 field employees
- Creating and managing project schedules
- Coordinating subcontractors and vendors
- Completing daily field reports
- Ensuring worksite safety and compliance
- Handling onsite problem solving and quality control
- Traveling to job sites primarily in Anchorage, with occasional work in Girdwood, Eagle River, and beyond
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on construction experience
- Strong leadership background with a proven track record of longevity in past roles
- Broad knowledge of the construction industry including new builds, remodels, and additions
- OSHA, LED, and HAZMAT experience strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable working in the field daily
- Clean background — no felonies, assault, DV, or sexual offenses (must be base-clearable)
- Must be insurable — MVR will be reviewed case by case
- Must pass UA screening (excluding THC); absolutely no use or presence of marijuana on any job site
- 4/10s schedule (Mon–Thurs, full 40 hours)
- Overtime available as needed but not standard
- Starting pay $45 to $55 per hour, depending on experience
- Bonus opportunities and potential for profit sharing
- No current benefits package, but long-term growth potential with a solid team
- Company truck in the works, not yet provided
