They are seeking a professional and dependable Phone Scheduler to join their team and be the first point of contact for patients calling in to schedule or manage appointments.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and procedures accurately in the EMR system.
- Gather and verify patient information to ensure efficient scheduling and recordkeeping.
- Manage call volume and prioritize patient needs appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with providers, nurses, and administrative staff to coordinate schedules.
- Provide outstanding customer service, making sure every patient feels supported and valued.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous medical scheduling or healthcare office experience preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and handle a fast-paced call volume.
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented.
