Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a well-respected nonprofit organization in Anchorage that is deeply rooted in community impact and youth development. We are seeking a mission-driven financial leader to step into a high-level finance role with a clear path toward becoming the organization's next CFO.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As the Director of Finance, you’ll work directly alongside the current CFO through the end of the year, transitioning into the CFO role thereafter. This is a unique opportunity to step into executive-level financial leadership in a thriving nonprofit. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing accounting operations, budgeting, and financial strategy
- Partnering with leadership to support organizational goals
- Leading financial reporting and grant compliance processes
- Guiding fiscal policy, audits, and strategic planning
- Managing and mentoring finance staff
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive experience in nonprofit financial leadership
- Strong background in accounting, compliance, and grant funding
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Proven leadership and executive-level communication skills
