WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Project Leadership and Technical Oversight
- Review, develop, and oversee architectural plans, drawings, and specifications
- Direct the production of construction drawings and architectural details to ensure accuracy and constructability
- Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations, and project standards
- Conduct and support detailed code studies including interpretation of local, state, and federal regulations
- Participate in quality control reviews and construction phase evaluations
Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to coordinate technical documentation
- Assist with writing and refining project specifications
- Support clients throughout the full project lifecycle with clear, confident communication
- Conduct occasional site visits to verify field conditions and monitor progress
Mentorship and Internal Support
- Guide junior architects and provide technical mentorship
- Lead internal design reviews and contribute to workflow improvements
- Maintain strong technical standards across all projects
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience
- 7 to 10 plus years of professional architectural experience across diverse project types
- Government project experience is required
Licensing
- Licensed Architect in any U.S. state
- Must be eligible to obtain Alaska and Washington licenses with company support
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of building codes, compliance standards, and construction methods
- Ability to confidently produce and direct construction drawings and details
Additional Qualifications
- Strong leadership and mentoring ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fully remote, highly collaborative environment
- Must be a U.S. citizen residing in the U.S.
- Preference for candidates located in the western U.S. to align with meeting schedules
