Event Production Assistant
City: 
McMinnville, OR
Pay:  $16-$17/hr.
Schedule: M,W,F,S 7am-5:30pm (4-10hr schedule, 40hrs/wk.)


Who We Are:
Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join their team as additional help for setting up and dismantling events, ranging from wedding, graduations, to parties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting clients with their equipment rental needs, and managing inventory. This role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:
  • Set up/teardown of chairs and other equipment for events 
  • Provide detailed information about rental products, including features, specifications, and rental policies.
  • Answer customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email, providing timely and helpful responses.
  • Maintain a clean and organized equipment, ensuring that all promotional materials and product displays are up to date.
  • Collaborate with other team members to restock inventory, perform equipment inspections, and ensure a well-maintained event environment.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints with professionalism and a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, product updates, and changes in rental policies to provide accurate information to customers.

What You Need to Have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of construction and industrial equipment is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment when necessary.

Working Conditions:
  • This role involves standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of heavy equipment.
  • Work hours may include weekends and holidays based on the store's operating schedule.
