Location: NE Portland, OR Area
Pay: $22-$24 per hour
Hours: Full-Time

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team in an entry-level account management role.

What You’ll Do:
The Entry-Level Account Manager / Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing top-notch customer service while managing accounts, processing orders, and supporting logistics operations. This role is perfect for someone with prior industrial experience who is comfortable working with phones, creating sales orders (SO), and purchase orders (PO), and assisting customers with product inquiries and delivery schedules.


Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service via phone and email, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Account Management: Assist with managing customer accounts by processing orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Sales and Order Creation: Generate and process sales orders (SO) and purchase orders (PO), ensuring accurate and timely processing in the system.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain knowledge of the company’s products and services, particularly in industries like insulation, structural steel, plumbing, etc., to assist customers effectively.
  • Logistics Coordination: Work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate product delivery, coordinating shipment schedules and tracking deliveries.
  • Self-Sufficiency: Operate independently while managing multiple tasks, ensuring high productivity and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.
What You Need to Have:
  • Experience: At least one year of industrial experience in sectors such as insulation, structural steel, plumbing, or a related field.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent phone etiquette and ability to engage customers professionally and courteously.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable with basic office software, including Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software. Ability to quickly learn new software tools.
  • Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain product details and processes to customers.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and resolve customer issues quickly and effectively.
