EXPERIENCED CPA NEEDED
Summary:
A local CPA firm is looking for an experienced bookkeeper with the ability to tackle numerous clients per month. This person must be able to handle multiple job responsibilities and prioritize on a daily basis. This is a full-charge bookkeeper position without the responsibility of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable.
Job Duties:
· Monthly bookkeeping for 50+ clients
· Year-end 1099 preparation
· Personal Property Tax Statement reporting and filing
· Fill in for the payroll processor when needed
· Year-end tax adjustments
· Some simple tax return data entry
Qualifications:
· Excellent written and oral communications skills
· Ability to work individually or as a team in a fast-paced environment
· Must take initiative and be able to work under time constraint
· Organized and consistent
· Ability to follow directions
· Results orientated individual
Experience/Education:
· Public Accounting Experience: 4 years (Required)
· QuickBooks Experience: 4+ years (Required)
· Tax Preparation Experience: 4 years (Preferred)
· Associates or Bachelors in Accounting or similar field (Preferred)
· CPA Firm or Bookkeeping Firm Experience (Preferred)
