Position: EDM Machinist III

Location: Clackamas, OR

Pay: $35.00 – $44.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Who We Are:
Hilton Tool is a Manufacturer of Precision Machined Components, specializing in close tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, production runs, and CAD design. We are growing and expanding to a second location in Clackamas, Oregon, and are seeking skilled professionals who want to advance their manufacturing careers while collaborating with a highly experienced team.
What You’ll Do:

  • Develop plans to manufacture parts according to drawing specifications

  • Read and interpret production work instructions and blueprints

  • Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, Wire EDM, and Sinker EDM machines

  • Set up tools, fixtures, load machines, and set offsets (X, Y, Z)

  • Read, understand, and adjust G & M code

  • Program EDM Sinker at the controller

  • Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments

  • Measure and inspect parts to ensure compliance with drawings and process paperwork

  • Hold tight tolerances of +/- .0002

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

What You Need to Have:

  • Extensive knowledge of EDM Sinker and Wire machining processes

  • Strong understanding of machine shop tooling

  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T

  • Advanced shop math skills (feeds and speeds calculations)

  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Ability to stand for the entire shift
The Musts:

  • EDM Sinker programming experience at the controller

  • Ability to hold +/- .0002 tolerances

  • Strong knowledge of EDM Sinker and Wire machine tools and controls

  • Compliance with company safety guidelines

  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Preferred:

  • Experience in high-precision manufacturing environments

  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional production teams

  • Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to share expertise
