Job Description
OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING!
M-F 9:00am – 5:30pm (frequent overtime to 6:00pm–7:00pm or later)

What You’ll Do:
As a Driver/Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient transportation of materials, while also supporting warehouse operations. You’ll work directly with customers during deliveries, maintain equipment, and assist in day-to-day shipping and receiving tasks.
Major Duties and Responsibilities

Operate trucks for deliveries and pickups throughout the Portland area.

Perform before-, during-, and after-operation maintenance checks and reports.

Deliver outstanding customer service during all interactions.

Verify paperwork with loads, note discrepancies, and obtain delivery confirmations.

Maintain accurate driver logs and oversee truck maintenance.

Assist shipping and receiving, including packaging when needed.
Qualifications:
-
1+ year of experience as a truck driver.
-
Forklift operating experience required.

Flexible, reliable, and strong customer service skills.

Ability to sit/drive for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Comfortable working in all weather conditions.

High school diploma or equivalent, with 5+ years of related manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
