Pay: Base + Uncapped Commission (average $80K+ annually, higher with experience)

Now we’re expanding our Anchorage team with a second Direct Hire / Executive Recruiter to meet the rising demand for healthcare professionals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of people, strategy, and sales—and who wants to make a direct impact on Alaska’s healthcare industry.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Direct Hire / Executive Recruiter, you’ll run a full-desk recruiting model—balancing client development with candidate recruitment:
- Partner with healthcare leaders (practice managers, executives, directors of nursing, administrators) to identify hiring needs
- Source and engage top healthcare talent—RNs, LPNs, CMAs, administrators, and executives—through LinkedIn, referrals, and networking
- Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate skills, motivations, and career goals
- Present well-matched candidates to clients and guide both sides through the hiring process
- Drive business development: cold and warm calls, networking, and community events to grow your portfolio of clients
- Maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates for repeat business and referrals
- Track activity and results to ensure consistent pipeline growth and measurable success

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- 1–3 years of recruiting, sales, or client-facing experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Drive and resilience—comfortable with outbound calls, networking, and metrics-driven work
- Ability to juggle multiple searches while staying organized and detail-focused
- Passion for connecting people with opportunity and growing a book of business

Hi! I am a lifelong Alaskan of 31 years and enjoy spending time with my little family of three. Like most Alaskan’s we like spending time outside going for walks, camping, or just spending a warm day at the lake. Working with Opti for the past almost 7 years has been amazing. I started my career with Opti as an Executive Recruiter specializing in permanent staffing at mid, upper, and executive levels. I loved that I had such an impact on candidates' lives and the Anchorage community. Since then, I have moved into a leadership role and can say it is equally rewarding.
