 We are a fleet shop based in Vancouver that has been in business for over 115 years, and are offering a career position to a qualified candidate. Our company is looking for a motivated day shift fleet mechanic with aptitude to work under little supervision, be a self-starter, and willing to learn the specialty side of our fleet.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:
- Compensation is 20-28/hr DOE
- Opportunity for overtime hours
-Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance Package. Vacation and Sick Pay, and 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan
Â
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
Â
The Musts:
Â
5 years industry experience, or 3 years with a Degree or Trade School.
Must Have Valid Drivers License and Acceptable Driving Record
Knowledge of systems, and able to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, setup, or adjust components related to Engine, Electrical, Hydraulics, Air Brakes, Drivetrain, Suspension, Chassis, Clutches, Pumps, PTO’s, Transmissions and Differentials. Â
Automotive skills are a plus for staff vehicles.
Tanker experience is a plus.
Must own your own set of tools for heavy-duty truck/trailer/equipment.   Â
Welding and fabricating experience is needed, aluminum welding is a plus.
Must understand and have knowledge in performing DOT/FMCSA Annual Inspections.
