Company Info: Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a premier dental practice to find a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant/Oral Surgery Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and advance your career in a supportive and professional environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Prepare patients for surgery, providing information and support to alleviate their concerns.
- Sterilize and arrange dental instruments, ensuring all tools are ready for use.
- Take and develop dental x-rays as required.
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Perform general office duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient files.
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients, ensuring they understand the necessary steps for recovery.
- Collaborate with the dental team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in dental assisting is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a related field is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
