Location: NE Portland, OR Area
Pay: $20 - $25 per hour
Hours: Part Time

What You’ll Do:
The Delivery/Service Technician is responsible for providing top-notch customer service while managing accounts, processing orders, and supporting logistics operations. This role is perfect for someone with prior industrial experience who is comfortable working with phones, creating sales orders (SO), and purchase orders (PO), and assisting customers with product inquiries and delivery schedules.

What You’ll Do:
The Delivery/Service Technician is responsible for providing top-notch customer service while managing accounts, processing orders, and supporting logistics operations. This role is perfect for someone with prior industrial experience who is comfortable working with phones, creating sales orders (SO), and purchase orders (PO), and assisting customers with product inquiries and delivery schedules.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Safely deliver fitness equipment to residential and commercial customers.
- Unbox, assemble, and set up fitness equipment as per manufacturer instructions and customer preferences.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and accurately.
- Verify customer’s order before delivery to ensure proper product and quantity.
- Diagnose and repair fitness equipment issues on-site for both residential and commercial clients.
- Perform preventive maintenance on fitness equipment, ensuring all machinery is functioning correctly.
- Order parts and components needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Provide customers with tips and instructions for proper use and maintenance of fitness equipment.
- Communicate professionally with customers during all stages of the delivery and service process.
- Assist customers with any inquiries related to equipment use, care, or service.
- Address customer concerns or issues promptly and efficiently.
- Handle and transport fitness equipment safely, ensuring no damage occurs during delivery.
- Follow all safety procedures when delivering and servicing equipment.
- Ensure equipment is properly tested before leaving customer premises.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with delivery, assembly, or maintenance of fitness equipment (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical components of fitness machines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to [weight] lbs) and work in various physical environments.
- Basic knowledge of using hand tools and equipment for assembly and repairs.
