Opening: Day Porter/Janitorial
City: Anchorage, AK.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness and performing light maintenance duties in the building during office hours. They must have experience in commercial cleaning and physical capabilities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Perform janitorial duties and light maintenance tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of building interior and exterior during office hours
- Use floor cleaning machines, sweep and mop small spaces
- Follow proper procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment use
- Clean restrooms, fitness center, and locker rooms
- Empty trash and replace liners in restrooms, common areas, and entrances
- Clean glass surfaces, elevator surfaces, and polished surfaces throughout the day
- Perform snow/ice removal when needed
