WE’RE HIRING!
Opening: Delivery Driver
City: Tukwila, WA
WHO THEY ARE:
We are seeking a Truck Driver for our Seattle Service Center. As a Truck Driver for us, you will safely and accurately deliver repaired motors to our customers. You will also perform a final check before delivery by comparing each job to its shipping instructions and then load the motor properly to prevent damage in the shipping process.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Operate material handling equipment such as fork truck, crane, etc.
- Properly load the truck including tie down and blocking of equipment to prevent damage in shipment.
- Perform a wide variety of miscellaneous operations, such as receive and store material, prepare and paint for shipment, packing, crating skidding and preparation of delivery tickets
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
CDL license preferred, but not required
3-5 years of truck driving experience
Mechanical experience preferred but not required
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to perform basic math functions
Ability to understand, perform and retain various job related training, operational, and safety procedures
Able to work overtime and weekends as required
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:
$22/HR to start with increase opportunities after 90 days (More if you have a CDL).

I am born and raised in the Seattle area. I grew up in Kent and Tukwila and currently live in the Redmond/Bellevue area. I enjoy all sports and talking about sports whenever I can. My favorite sport is baseball, and I am a diehard Mariners fan regardless of my White Sox hat in my Opti photo. I have a 2-year-old goldendoodle named Murphy and I like to goof around with him in my free time and go to his favorite park and play fetch. I play some pick-up basketball, and recreational softball. Other than that, I really like watching movies.
What I like about Opti is that I can be myself and work with an amazing group of people. I really enjoy the friendly competitiveness in the office and with the other offices. Working as a bartender for 15 years I dreamed of having a career in sales, and it is pretty darn awesome, plus I can help others find the career that they have always wanted too!
