Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for on-site servicing and/or modification of company products lines. Provides technical support to customer on operations, preventative and corrective maintenance of all Company product lines. Instructs customer in proper operation and maintenance of our equipment. Serves as a liaison with customer on technical or administrative matters for assigned project. Provides feedback to service, sales and technical support groups on customer’s needs and requests.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Located on or travels to customer sites as required to perform preventive and basic corrective maintenance.
• Have the flexibility to work on shifts/overtime/stand-by/on-call/holidays when required.
• Follows required Company & customer safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Have the ability to work long periods of time in a labor intensive environment.
• Will be required to work overtime and/or travel on short notice, including unscheduled or other shifts as required.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintaining a professional behavior.
• Assist with tool installation and removal when required.
• Completes assigned work in a timely manner and meets expectations.
• Utilize Company administrative dB systems for ECN, parts and drawing discovery and usage with little assistance.
• Improving initiative in self-study and continuous improvement in Company equipment knowledge and maintenance skillsets (PM, CM, Customer service).
• Understands and applies intermediate diagnostic techniques and the use of recommended documentation.
• Frequently demonstrate good troubleshooting skills on Company equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to create and present monthly training sessions to sustaining engineers.
• Provides feedback and suggestions to Company management, technical support and training departments for improvement in procedures, operations and customer service.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: A.S. or B.S. in related Electro/Mechanical or Electronic field or equivalent training with corresponding industry experience.
EXPERIENCE: ~2 years related industry experience. Demonstrated knowledge on Company, (or direct competitor) product lines. Recommend ~1 or more years Company (or similar) sustaining tool maintenance experience.
