Position: Cost Estimator
Location: Vancouver, WA
Pay: $33–$57 per hour
Schedule: Full Time | Flexible Hours Available

What You’ll Do
As our Cost Estimator, you’ll be responsible for evaluating project plans and specifications to provide accurate, competitive cost projections. Your insights will help guide budgeting, planning, and bidding decisions. Responsibilities include:

Reviewing blueprints, drawings, and other project documentation

Preparing detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors

Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to clarify scope and identify potential risks

Conducting quantity takeoffs and cost analysis

Assisting in the development of project bids and proposals

Using estimating software and spreadsheets to generate accurate reports

Identifying opportunities for value engineering and cost savings

What You Need to Have

10+ years of experience in construction estimating

Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing

Strong analytical and mathematical skills

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel

Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
