This esteemed organization is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Corporate Tax Manager to oversee their tax operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency within a dynamic corporate structure.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage the corporate tax planning, compliance, and reporting functions to optimize tax strategies and minimize liabilities.
- Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate and manage tax audits, including preparation and support during examinations.
- Advise on tax implications of business decisions, mergers and acquisitions, and new policies.
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure company compliance and best practices.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to integrate tax planning with business operations.
- Develop and mentor tax department staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and excellence.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or Master’s degree in Taxation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax, with a strong background in tax compliance and strategy, preferably within a large corporation or public accounting firm.
- Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations, corporate tax planning, and compliance management.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
