WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Analyze project plans and specifications to provide accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure financial goals are met.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and subcontractors.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and construction techniques to maintain competitiveness.
- Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for upcoming construction projects.
- Monitor project progress and costs, adjusting estimates as necessary to keep projects on track.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for numbers and precision.
- 5+ years’ experience in construction cost estimating or a related field.
- Ability to analyze and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software is a plus.
