Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for Sales/Commercial Administration for capital equipment projects. Responsible to manage quoting and project requests for capital equipment. Responsible to manage, process and track orders for capital equipment from request, to order entry, to purchase order generation, to install tracking, to invoice generation, to final acceptance. Responsible to track and monitor OTD, OTQ and OTA, and recommend solutions for improvement. Responsible to maintain sales administration files and logs.
Responsible to assist in quoting, for Service and Training personnel.
Must adhere to the import/export rules and regulations, Companies Quality Policies and follow Quality Procedures. Responsible to assist in updating the Quality System for areas directly related to the position. (For example, for the quotation process, the order process, and the Import/Export Process.)
Responsible to make sound decisions and work independently with very little day-to-day instruction on multiple projects. Responsible to obtain positive results while coordinating with various levels of internal and external personnel.
Responsible to ensure adherence to customer contracts, for areas directly related to the position. (Including customer forecasting, quoting, and order fulfillment.) Responsible to ensure adherence to vendor contracts directly related to the position.
Responsible to provide timely updates to Inside Sales Manager and other managers as appropriate for project planning, and forecasting. Responsible to ensure that billing in areas of responsibility adheres to the EOM schedule.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
EXPERIENCE:
• 4 years’ experience in sales/commercial administration or customer service in a related field.
• Spreadsheet proficiency is required. CRM system experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
