Opening: Collections / Accounts Receivable

COMPANY INFO:
We are partnering with a long standing organization in the moving and relocation space. They are busy, deadline driven, and need someone dependable who can step in quickly and keep AR moving in the right direction.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Manage full cycle Accounts Receivable including invoicing, posting payments, and reconciling accounts
- Handle collections with professionalism and confidence while keeping communication firm and respectful
- Reach out to residential and commercial customers regarding invoices, past due balances, and payment arrangements
- Maintain accurate AR reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Work closely with operations to resolve billing issues or discrepancies
- Follow up consistently on delinquent accounts through phone, email, and written notices
- Process credit cards, ACH payments, and ensure customer accounts stay updated
- Assist the finance team with month end tasks and reconciliations
- Maintain strong attention to detail and dependable attendance
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven collections experience is required
- Solid background in Accounts Receivable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism
- Reliable work ethic with consistent follow through
- Experience in transportation, logistics, construction, or moving services is helpful but not required
- Ability to work independently and remain steady in a fast paced seasonal environment
