OPTI STAFFING IS HIRING!
Position: Transformer Coil Winder
M-F 8am-4:30pm
Salary Range: $18-22 hour
Hillsboro, OR
Who we are:
Our client manufactures 5,000 different components for applications in various industries. They develop products within the entire spectrum of Power Magnetic Devices. Their products are seen worldwide. Some of their latest products involve wireless technology to control solenoids. They also develop products to help with Power Factor and harmonic noise, which is so prevalent in today's offices and manufacturing plants. They have designs that maximize the transformer's efficiency using raw materials such as oxygen-free copper and high-grade electrical steel. Their engineers will provide product designs to fit customer's specifications. They can build to suit specifications and they ship anywhere in the world.
What You’ll Do:
Wind large and small coils for transformers based on provided specifications.
Follow blueprints and schematics with precision.
Work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
Maintain effective communication with coworkers and management.
Ensure attention to detail in all aspects of coil winding.
Lift and move objects up to 40 lbs. as necessary.

What You Need to Have:
Proficiency in reading and understanding schematics and blueprints.
Knowledge of wire gauges, types of wire, insulation materials, and shop equipment.
Capacity to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
