WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Investigate and process workers' compensation claims in accordance with state regulations and company policies.
- Communicate with claimants, employers, and medical professionals to gather necessary information.
- Evaluate the validity of claims and determine appropriate compensation.
- Maintain detailed records of all claims and communications.
- Provide guidance and support to claimants throughout the claims process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate claims processing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience in workers' compensation claims adjusting or a related field.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with state workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in using claims management software and other office applications.
