Opening: Child Care Assistance Program Supervisor

COMPANY INFO: Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a reputable organization in the social services sector to find a qualified and dedicated individual for the position of Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) Coordinator. This role is integral in ensuring compliance with CCPO standards and providing high-quality services to clients. WHAT YOU’LL DO: As the CCAP Coordinator, you will:
- Assist in administering the Child Care Assistance Program, ensuring adherence to policies and protocols established by the State of Alaska.
- Supervise CCAP staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and conducting regular staff meetings.
- Oversee staff training and ensure completion of all required training programs.
- Manage the CCAP computer program operation, including input and reporting, and be proficient in the State of Alaska Computer Software Program and MS Office products.
- Support visits and audits conducted by the State of Alaska, providing detailed program and statistical reports.
- Ensure productivity of the program and employees, meeting goals established by AFS and the State of Alaska.
- Conduct quality assurance checks, reviewing client/provider files for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide counseling and support to clients, referring them to appropriate services as necessary.
- Serve as acting Program Manager in the absence of the current Program Manager.
- Participate in and support PQI coordination and activities.
- Adhere to and carry out all policies, directives, and safety procedures.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field.
- Minimum Experience: At least one year of social services administrative experience, with expertise in office management, personnel supervision, and social service program assessment and planning.
- Preferred Experience: Two years of social services experience, with a focus on public assistance or child care program administration, and/or social service program assessment and evaluation.
- Proficiency in the State of Alaska Computer Software Program and MS Office products.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and support staff effectively.
