Pay: $23-$27 DOE
COMPANY INFO: Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a leading medical practice to find a qualified Certified Medical Assistant. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join their team and provide exceptional patient care.

COMPANY INFO: Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a leading medical practice to find a qualified Certified Medical Assistant. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join their team and provide exceptional patient care.
WHAT YOU’LL DO: As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Utilizing EHR and practice management software (NextGen); training will be provided
- Rooming patients and obtaining vitals, including manual blood pressure
- Administering immunizations/vaccinations
- Performing limited wound care
- Scheduling procedures and studies at facilities
- Preparing charts for patient visits
- Stocking medical supplies in exam rooms; eventually managing medical supply orders
- Collecting lab specimens
- Handling prior authorizations for medications and procedures at facilities
- Managing prior authorizations for Medicaid travel
- Answering a multi-line phone system
- Faxing/scanning documents
- Serving as the medical records custodian
- At least two years of work history as a Certified Medical Assistant in a medical practice
- Must be proficient in administering immunizations/vaccinations
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification (a copy will be required upon hiring)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with EHR systems, preferably NextGen, is a plus
