Position:
Cabinetmaker/Assembler
Location: Portland, OR
Pay: $25.00 - $27.50 per hour 
Schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, weekdays (Availability for OT weekdays and occasional weekend days as production schedules dictate.)

Who We Are:
We are a commercial cabinet shop specializing in the design and production of high-end store fixtures, displays, and architectural millwork for a range of industries, including retail, casinos, hospitality, and the gaming industry.

What You’ll Do:

  • Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine parts and assembly requirements.

  • Use stationary and portable woodworking equipment and hand tools to construct fixtures and displays.

  • Lift and handle up to 50 lbs. as needed for assembly and installation.

  • Work on special projects as required.

  • Demonstrate reliability in completing tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Maintain open communication with team members and supervisors.

  • Uphold a high standard of professionalism and ethics in all interactions and work processes.

What You Need to Have:

  • Experience in cabinetmaking or assembly.

  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.

  • Proficient in using woodworking equipment and hand tools.

  • Capable of lifting and handling up to 50 lbs.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

  • Strong work ethic and reliability.

The Musts:

  • Previous experience in commercial cabinetry or related field.

  • Knowledge of woodworking machinery and tools.

  • Ability to read blueprints/drawings accurately.

  • Physical capability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Excellent reliability and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience working on high-end retail store fixtures or architectural millwork.

  • Previous experience in making commercial furnishings in the hospitality or gaming industry.
