Position: Cabinetmaker/Assembler
Location:Â Portland, OR
Pay: $25.00 - $27.50 per hourÂ
Schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, weekdays (Availability for OT weekdays and occasional weekend days as production schedules dictate.)
Who We Are:
We are a commercial cabinet shop specializing in the design and production of high-end store fixtures, displays, and architectural millwork for a range of industries, including retail, casinos, hospitality, and the gaming industry.
What You’ll Do:

Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine parts and assembly requirements.

Use stationary and portable woodworking equipment and hand tools to construct fixtures and displays.

Lift and handle up to 50 lbs. as needed for assembly and installation.

Work on special projects as required.

Demonstrate reliability in completing tasks with minimal supervision.

Maintain open communication with team members and supervisors.

Uphold a high standard of professionalism and ethics in all interactions and work processes.

What You Need to Have:

Experience in cabinetmaking or assembly.

Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.

Proficient in using woodworking equipment and hand tools.

Capable of lifting and handling up to 50 lbs.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Strong work ethic and reliability.
The Musts:
-
Previous experience in commercial cabinetry or related field.

Knowledge of woodworking machinery and tools.

Ability to read blueprints/drawings accurately.

Physical capability to lift 50 lbs.

Excellent reliability and communication skills.
Preferred:
-
Experience working on high-end retail store fixtures or architectural millwork.

Previous experience in making commercial furnishings in the hospitality or gaming industry.
