Opening: CPA/Enrolled Agent
City: Anchorage, AK
Pay: DOE ($60,000 - $85,000)
Are you an experienced CPA / Tax Associate / Enrolled Agent looking to transition from large firms to a local Alaskan company deeply connected to the community? This unique opportunity is tailored just for you!
Opti Staffing Group is partnering with one of Anchorage's top firms in town to find an experienced CPA / Audit and/or Tax Associate to join their team!
At this company, they believe in the LIVE. WORK. PLAY. CONCEPT. Unlike traditional CPA firms, they require only an additional 36 hours in the 8 weeks leading up to April 15th. No internal or outsourced auditing involved. Some of your key duties will include:
- Interviewing clients to gather necessary tax information.
- Utilizing deductions and credits to optimize tax outcomes.
- Preparing tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
- Calculating taxes owed or overpaid and completing necessary forms.
- Providing clients with advice and future tax planning.
- Reviewing financial records to determine required tax forms.
What you need to have:
- BA in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Experience in Tax Accounting.
- Preferably worked with CPA firms.
- Strong auditing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills for professional interactions.
