WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop and adjust CNC programs and instructions for lathe, mill, and multi-axis/mill-turn machined parts using Siemens NX or Esprit software.
- Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and design data to identify the suitable machine tool, work holding, and cutter selection.
- Manage program start-ups in manufacturing, actively participating in troubleshooting and offering recommendations for improved manufacturability.
- Monitor machine trial runs and conduct computer simulations to verify the functionality of programs and machinery.
- Contribute daily ideas to address intricate machining challenges within a collaborative team environment.

- Attention to detail.
- Demonstrate creativity in machining processes.
- Possess advanced hands-on proficiency in operating CAD/CAM software, with a preference for Siemens NX or Esprit.
- Showcase expert-level programming skills for prototype and one-off components on lathes, 3 and 4-axis mills, and multi-axis mill-turn machines.
- Apply a working knowledge of tool path creation, speeds/feeds, and cutting tool selection.
- Approach tasks with professionalism, collaborating effectively with team members to ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and continuity.
- Exhibit a high level of competency in shop math, machine controls, materials, and tooling.
