Compensation: $26-29/HR DOE
Shift: FRI/SAT/SUN (5am - 5:30pm)

What You’ ll Do:

CNC Machinist III position is responsible for set-up and operation of the CNC Mills in compliance with inch and metric drawing specifications. Demonstrated abilities to read engineered drawings set up and operate manual mills and lathes, ability to troubleshoot and perform more complex variety of machining skills. Set up and operate CNC Vertical Mill to inch and metric drawing specifications. Lead person responsibilities.

What You Need to Have:                                               
  • Set up and operate 5 Axis CNC to machine flat and formed parts to inch and metric drawing specifications.
  • Able to use rotary table and divider head mill vise.
  • Act as technical resource regarding tooling and machining capabilities.
  • Evaluate and justify new tooling and machining processes.
  • Communicate issues relating to work orders, programming errors, material shortages or errors.
  • Continuous focus on reduction of material, labor and scrap.
  • Perform minor maintenance activities as required by the preventive maintenance program.
  • Continued education and training including, but not limited to:  ISO 9001, safety, blueprint reading, teamwork
  • Perform R&D work as directed. 
  • Document Red lines and record labor time for job tracking.
  • Mentor and train Machinist I, II, III.
  • Demonstrated ability to machine various plastics including WPP, NPP, FRPP, Polycarbonate, PVC, Acrylic, UHMW, Delrin, PTFE, PFA, and PVDF and other materials as they come up including metals.
  • Demonstrated ability to machine to .005 tolerance.
  • Ability to read and interpret Bill of Materials.
  • Demonstrated skills in a minimum of one other discipline (cross-trained).

  • 5+ years of Machining experience
  • High School or Trade School diploma
  • Ability to lift objects, and stand for extended amounts of time
