What You’ll Do:
As a CNC and Manual Machinist, you will be instrumental in building precision parts critical to our systems’ success. Your role will involve:
- Operating and programming CNC machines to produce custom parts based on detailed specifications
- Setting up and running manual mills, lathes, and other equipment for short or long production runs
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work orders to meet exact tolerances
- Selecting the appropriate tools, materials, and methods for each project
- Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
- Collaborating with the engineering and assembly teams to troubleshoot and refine designs
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace while adhering to company safety protocols
The Musts:
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in both CNC and manual machining
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and CAD drawings
- Experience with G-code programming and CNC machine setup
- Familiarity with manual mills, lathes, and grinders
- Strong knowledge of measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
- A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation
- Prior experience in manufacturing large-scale equipment or custom machinery
- Familiarity with machining a variety of materials, including steel and aluminum
