Job Title: CNC Machinist & Press Brake Operator
Summary:
Join our team as a CNC Machinist & Press Brake Operator, where you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of press brakes to bend metal parts to specified dimensions and tolerances. This dynamic role also involves a variety of CNC operations, making it an ideal fit for a versatile professional.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and operate press brakes to bend metal parts accurately.
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Select and install appropriate dies and tooling.
Make adjustments to ensure consistent and precise bends.
Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
Maintain and clean press brakes and associated equipment.
Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
Qualifications:
Journeyman Machinist certification or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding of press brake operation and setup.
Experience with forming and fabrication processes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with various CNC operations.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
Knowledge of metalworking processes, excluding welding.
