CNC Machine Repair Tech

We are a growing industrial staffing and manufacturing support team that partners with top-tier fabrication and production facilities in the Portland metro area. We value skilled tradespeople who take pride in their work, think mechanically, and enjoy solving problems on the shop floor.
What You’ll Do:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC machinery (mills, lathes, press brakes, and related equipment)
-
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
-
Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
-
Work closely with operators and production teams to resolve machine issues quickly
-
Document repairs, maintenance actions, and parts used
-
Ensure machines are operating safely and efficiently

What You Need to Have:

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Experience working with CNC machines in a manufacturing environment

Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation

Basic hand and power tool proficiency
-
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
The Musts:
-
Prior CNC machine maintenance or repair experience
-
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred:
-
Experience with PLCs, servos, VFDs, and control systems
-
Background in metal fabrication or machining
-
Formal technical training or certifications
-
Welding or fabrication repair experience
