Location: Portland, OR
Compensation: $120-$130K DOE
Branch General Manager
Who they are:
Opti Staffing is currently hiring a critical leadership role for a valued client. This National brand has wholesale distribution locations across the country and they need an experienced Branch General Manager for their Oregon facility located in Wilsonville.
What you'll do:
This is a performing General Manager role, with full P&L responsibility so you can run your business to the highest standard of your ability. Ideal candidates can clearly articulate their experience driving branch profitability through careful leadership of the sales and business development team as well as leading and motivating the warehouse support team and drivers toward excellence through premium customer service behaviors and work ethics. You will also have demonstrated experience with hiring and training your staff and developing recruiting techniques that will yield talented and motivated staff at all levels.

What experience you bring:
- Have full P&L responsibility and understand where to look for performance and efficiencies with respect to the operating budget
- Lead Inside Sales and Outside Business Development teams to leverage and grow existing business as well as finding creative ways to expand the customer base and increase region market share
- Experience developing regional commercial customer targets into active accounts
- Oversee the warehouse operations team to ensure we operate at the optimum pace to maintain a strong quality & safety expectations, provide the best service & support necessary to deliver on our promises and goals
- 5 years of sales experience in industrial distribution with a track record of exceeding assigned sales goals
- Experience managing a team of professionals
- Experience using a customer relationship management tool and Microsoft products
