Opening: Bookkeeper
City: Woodinville, WA
WHO THEY ARE:
We are a family-owned and operated company with a history dating back to 1973. Our CEO and founder, born and raised in the state of Gujarat in India, grew up immersed in a family business centered around farming, processing, and organic agriculture. With three generations of organic farming experience, his family currently maintains their own farm in India. In 1997, he relocated to the United States and, in 2003, alongside his father and brother, founded the company. We specialize in being a high-quality wholesale distributor of Non-GMO and certified organic raw food ingredients.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
In this role as a Bookkeeper, you'll be responsible for a wide range of financial tasks. This includes recording and organizing financial transactions, like sales, expenses, and payroll, and ensuring their accurate entry into our accounting system. You'll also meticulously reconcile bank statements, generate invoices, process payments, and oversee accounts receivable. Handling payroll is another key aspect, involving precise calculations, tax withholdings, and deductions. Collaboration with our accounting team is essential as you assist in preparing detailed financial reports such as income statements and balance sheets. Moreover, you'll play a critical role in maintaining compliance with financial regulations by keeping meticulous records of deductible expenses, ultimately contributing to the financial health of our organization.

Mon-Fri 8-5 (work/life balance!)
